How We Treat
We have found that bed bugs have become quite resistant. The best approach is a thorough inspection and then treatment with heat and dry ice. Bed bugs can survive neither temperature, and this helps ensure their speedy demise.
A heat gun (200 degrees) is used which easily penetrates cracks and crevices (and also prevents combustion of other items!).
Cryonite is carbon dioxide snow (dry ice) that is sprayed at -100 degrees Fahrenheit, penetrating deep into thin cracks and crevices, in buildings as well as into machines.
Cimex4u, as your pest control operator, will develop a strategy to deal with the bed bugs and will take all particulars of your settings into account, and will return several times to check on progress.
The heat gun incinerates anything living and the Cryonite works from the opposite end by freezing. Dry ice doesn't leave any residue at all. Vacuuming also has a role as does the use of insecticides which will leave behind deposits that are slow to act but are effective in the long-term.
All of these will be considered in the choice of tactics that will be the most effective for each individual situation.
